Depending on where you are coming from, we suggest 4 alternate routes and advice:

The closest gas station is about 40 kms away before you arrive in Fonseca or Junquera. Plan ahead and check your gas.

Route 1
From Madrid for the R2 (toll road)


• From Madrid get on the R2 to Guadalajara

• Take the exit marked Guadalajara Norte

• Follow the indications to the CM 101 until Humanes and then take the CM 1004 to Tamajon.

• Drive through Tamajon and take the GU 186 to Majaelrayo. (From Tamajon there are signs for Majaelrayo).

Route 2
from Madrid on the A2 (freeway)


• Take the A2 until Guadalajara exit 58 that says Guadalajara norte.

• Follow the indications for Ronda Norte (take you around Guadalajara) and watch for the exit CM 101 Humanes and then take the CM 1004 to Tamajon.

• Drive through Tamajon and take the GU 186 to Majaelrayo. (From Tamajon there are signs for Majaelrayo).





Route 3
from Burgos on the A1 (freeway)


• Take the A1 in Burgos direction Madrid.

• Take the exit 50 to Torrelaguna N320

• Once in Torrelaguna, drive through the town to Patones de Abajo.

• Once through Patones, on the right there is a turn to Uceda on the CM 1002.

• Take that road to Uceda, drive through and continue on to El Cubillo de Uceda.

• Turn off to the left on to the CM 1001 until Puebla de Beleña.

• Once past that town, turn left on to the CM 1004 to Tamajon.

• Drive through Tamajon and take the GU 186 to Majaelrayo. (From Tamajon there are signs for Majaelrayo).



Route 4
From Zaragoza across the A2 (freeway)


• Take the A2 in Zaragoza direction Madrid.

• Take the A2 until Guadalajara exit 58 that says Guadalajara norte.

• Follow the indications for Ronda Norte (take you around Guadalajara) and watch for the exit CM 101 Humanes and then take the CM 1004 to Tamajon.

• Drive through Tamajon and take the GU 186 to Majaelrayo. (From Tamajon there are signs for Majaelrayo).
